No, this project absolutely requires contemporary witnesses. In this case, Jerome Froese is the only person still alive who experienced almost all phases of Tangerine Dream, or who obtained experiences and events from direct sources and people.
The current incarnation of Tangerine Dream has more the status of a franchise company that has obtained usage rights to the name, but idealistically no longer has anything in common with the original values of the Froese family or former members of the band.
The TTDA is solely focused on the artistic output of the original Froese family and the band’s history up to the year 2000. It is a standalone initiative that is not affiliated with any subsequent activities following Edgar Froese’s passing in 2015. Consequently, there will be no overlap or mutual support.
